As if we weren't already captivated by the handsome Volvo XC90, the brand debuted its all-new Volvo XC90 R-Design this week at the Detroit Auto Show. Exclusive 20-inch wheels, those famous Thor-inspired headlights, and a luxurious interior that could only be Swedish-made, the Volvo XC90 R-Design is simply magnificent. But it's not all about style-it's what's inside and under the hood that really matters- isn't that what mother always said?
Under the hood on all trims we find the base level 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder which gives us about 260 horsepower, and it goes up from there. The range-topping T8 model gives us the option of an electric motor which boasts 400 horsepower and 470-lb.-ft. of torque. We'll give it a second for that to sink in.
