Jean-Claude Van Damme is kind of a big deal. Best known for his roles in various action-packed flicks, the actor is also quite skilled in the realm of martial arts. Actually, skilled might be an understatement. You see, in a new ad highlighting the automaker's fresh Volvo Dynamic Steering system, the athlete/performer does a split.
Now, we at North Point Volvo already find this recent commercial impressive. That's because doing a split is quite difficult, and it's not something that's within our areas of expertise. However, doing said move becomes even more difficult when done standing atop two Volvo trucks that are driving in reverse. You guys, that's exactly what Jean-Claude Van Damme does in this spot.
We're serious. Preformed on a closed-off stretch of road, the commercial, which is aptly coined "The Epic Split", is truly breath-taking. As we mentioned, the spot was generated to underscore the steadiness and accuracy of the Swedish automaker's Dynamic Steering system for their Volvo Trucks lineup. The ad does that, without a doubt.
Of course, we would like to mention that we don't condone riding on top of your car. Moreover, this technology isn't yet available in the lineup of vehicles that are here at our new Volvo dealership. However, we do want to point out that the models in our showroom are equally remarkable in their own ways.
