Rushed Driving = Stressed Driving When Transporting Food

If you are traveling with food for the holidays, you want to be sure to avoid spills and the headache of cleaning it all up. The North Point Volvo team wants to help make your holiday celebrations a more enjoyable and less stressful experience by sharing some excellent food transport tips.

Pack foods in containers with tight-fitting lids and pack containers of food in insulated bags. If you don't have insulated bags, you can always use a box lined with towels. The towels will help you keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold, and can also help to absorb any spills. Make sure that you secure your food containers with seatbelts or wedge them into your car so they will not spill and make a mess in your car.

We want to remind you to have a safe and fun holiday season and to leave yourself plenty of time to get to your destination. Don't travel rushed because rushed driving is stressed driving and stressed driving can lead to accidents.
